Sector III - Vale do Rossim Lake (1425 meters high)

In the heart of the Serra da Estrela, in the Penhas Douradas, and next to the largest glacier valley of Europe, extends this mantle of water, the lagoon of the “Vale do Rossim”.
It is a lagoon not as deep as the “Lagoa Comprida”, but it has enormous potential and the surrounding beauty makes the fisherman feel small and enjoy even more when they fish it. The margins are not so deep and the bottom consists of small stones and large gravel. There are fish of unbelievable size living in this lagoon (rainbow trout (oncorhynchus mykiss), Brown Trout (Salmo Trutta) and “bordalos” (euciscus carolitertii) that make fishing in its water a real challenge. The lagoon extends for an area of 37 h.
